Article Marketing - Why Your Profile is As Important As Your Articles

If you have been taking part in article marketing for some time, you will know that the best article directories give you the chance to create a profile for yourself as well as adding a resource box to the foot of every article you write. But a lot of article marketers don't make the most of this opportunity.

If you have already submitted a handful or more of articles to Ezine Articles, Rovner ligature take a look at your author's home page. You'll see a panel on the left labelled 'account statistics'.

The first piece of information in that panel tells you how many times your articles have been viewed. But the second piece tells you how many times your profile has been viewed. And this could even be more times than your article resource boxes have been clicked on.

Don't forget that when someone clicks through to your extended author biography, they will see your website address and your blog address too if you have one. You can also add a number of social networking addresses in there for your own accounts, so if you are looking to create a bigger network and connect with even more people, you need to focus on that profile.

So do it now. Take a fresh look at your profile. You may have written something very quickly to add to it when you first joined. Could it do with being improved upon? It doesn't have to be long - in fact short is fine so long as it says what you want it to say and you get your message across.

The worst sin of all is leaving it empty! So if yours falls into this category go and create a profile now, so your article marketing efforts will be even more successful as time goes on.
